TADEU CRUZ
Tadeu José Costa Santos Cruz (Tadeu Cruz) holds a degree in Philosophy (1975) and in Business Administration from São Marcos University (1982). He specialized in System Software and Data Communication Software at the Cologne International Training Centre, Cologne - Germany (1980). He specialized in System Engineering at Hewlett Packard USA and Mexico (1987 / 1988).

He earned a Master's degree in Production Engineering - Operations Research and Production Management from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute of Graduate Studies and Engineering Research - COPPE- UFRJ - (2005).

He is a co-founder and the first president of IBGI – Brazilian Institute for Information Management.
​
He is the author of 37 technical books (3 co-authored, one in English), 8 poetry books, and 1 short story book. He is a co-author of the Workflow Handbook 2006, edited by Layna Fischer - Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC - USA). He was a columnist for Information Management magazine for 6 years.​

He participated in more than 140 extension and specialization courses in the areas of IT and Business Organization in countries such as Germany, Argentina, Brazil, United States, France, England, Italy and Mexico. More than 53 years of professional experience in Information Technology, Quality and Organizational Development and Process Management. Professor of various institutions and disciplines for more than 50 years.

He has worked as an Information Technology and Process Management consultant in Projects in Germany, Angola, Argentina, Chile, the United States, Mozambique, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.
He created and coordinated the first lato sensu postgraduate course in e-Business in Brazil, in 2000, at Faculdade Tancredo Neves, São Paulo, SP.

Creator of the DOMP™ Methodology for mapping, analysis, modeling, implementation and management of business processes used in dozens of companies in several countries and referenced in hundreds of academic papers.

In 2013, the DOMP™ Methodology was chosen by PETROBRAS to map, improve, reimplement and manage the organization's three major logistics macro-processes: Storage, Transportation of People and Transportation of Materials. 35 employees from the operational bases of Macaé, Vitória and the new and very modern Armazém do Rio were trained in the DOMP™ Methodology. Professor Tadeu was hired as an instructor and mentor for the implementation of the methodology.
